Emma Watson may have found the magic of love with someone new. According to several Spanish outlets and a recent tip from DeuxMoi, the actor and activist is reportedly linked to Mexican businessman Gonzalo Hevia Baillères as of February 2026.
Per photos obtained by Quien, Emma and her rumored beau were spotted getting cozy at the airport. DeuxMoi’s tipsters also alleged that the pair has attended a wedding in Mexico together.
But, before we get into all that, who even is Gonzalo? Spoiler alert: he comes from a billion-dollar dynasty and is a pretty big deal in the Latin American business world. Ahead, find all the details on Emma Watson’s rumored boyfriend, Gonzalo Hevia Baillères.
Gonzalo is an AI executive
The Mexican businessman is the founder and CEO of Lok, a technology company that specializes in artificial intelligence. He also works with Chazki, a technology-driven delivery company, and Coca-Cola Femsa, the corporation behind Mexican Coke’s iconic glass bottles.
He is an heir to a billion-dollar dynasty
Aside from the success of his own business endeavors, Gonzalo’s grandparents, Teresa Gual and Alberto Baillères, became incredibly wealthy thanks to their mining company, Industrias Penoles. They also own Grupo Bal and El Palacio de Hierro department stores, which are essentially the Mexican equivalent of Saks Fifth Ave.
Because of this, the Baillèreses have a combined billion-dollar net worth, making them the fourth-richest family in Mexico, and, according to Forbes, the tenth-richest in all of Latin America. According to several reports, the family’s net worth could be anywhere from $6.65 billion to $19.7 billion. While the exact amount is unclear, we do know that they’re loaded.
He seems to maintain a low profile and stay offline
Yep. Gonzalo is so low-key that a photo of this man barely exists on the internet!
There is a private Instagram account attached to his name, but it’s unclear whether it belongs to him. The account has just over 1,000 followers, and the profile photo is Takashi Murakami’s animated bear from Kanye West’s Graduation album cover art (???).
Gonzalo reportedly dated Spanish-Mexican singer Belinda Peregrín
According to Remezcla, Gonzalo dated Spanish-Mexican singer and actor Belinda Peregrín from late 2022 to early 2024. Oh, and fun fact for our Disney Channel fans out there: Belinda starred as Marisol in The Cheetah Girls 2.
In 2025, eagle-eyed fans speculated that Belinda’s scathing diss track, “Hereocromía,” may have alluded to her relationship with Gonzalo as she sings about a classist “old money” ex who comes from generational wealth.
In Spanish, she sings, “Tú eres old money, te dicen ‘Bunny’ / Y tu palacio me lo paso por el booty,” which could potentially be a reference to El Palacio de Hierro.
Gonzalo first sparked dating rumors with Emma in February 2026
Yep. A DeuxMoi tipster claimed the pair attended a wedding in Mexico in the February 1 edition of the outlet’s Sunday Spotted series, and alleged that Gonzalo didn’t “have the best reputation when it comes to how he’s treated his ex-girlfriends.” Nothing has been fully confirmed, so take this with a grain of salt.
Then, on March 4, Quien posted a photo of the couple at the airport together.
Neither Emma nor Gonzalo has confirmed the nature of their potential connection, but we’ll be keeping an eye on the low-key pair for any updates.
Unexpected Team-Up: Prince William and Emma Watson Unite for Change
Prince William had plenty to celebrate this weekend, but his latest public appearance quickly turned heads for a very different reason. After marking his 44th birthday and Father's Day with his family, the future king returned to royal duties—and made a surprisingly personal confession about the emotional toll of climate change.
William joined Hollywood stars Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch at a United for Wildlife forum in London, an initiative he launched with the Royal Foundation in 2013. The organization works around the world to combat wildlife trafficking, environmental crime, and the destruction of endangered species.
But it was William's candid admission about his own fears that stole the spotlight.

The Prince of Wales revealed that climate change has caused him "sleepless nights," admitting he has struggled with anxiety about what the future could look like. Yet instead of allowing those fears to overwhelm him, William said seeing real progress through conservation efforts has helped keep his environmental anxiety under control.
He also delivered a powerful message to business leaders, urging them to become the kind of leaders they admired when they were children. With technology and innovation transforming the world at an incredible pace, William challenged CEOs to use their influence to create meaningful change.
The event launched London Climate Action Week, with more royal appearances expected, including the Earthshot Prize assembly.

Emma Watson also delivered a surprising revelation of her own. The Harry Potter star highlighted the fashion industry's enormous environmental impact, pointing out that it produces more emissions than aviation and ranks behind only oil among major polluting industries.
Watson, who is also pursuing a doctorate in philosophy at Oxford, shared a hilarious story about mistakenly believing paparazzi were following her. After spotting photographers with telephoto lenses, she arranged a distraction and escaped through another exit. The twist? They weren't photographing her at all. They were waiting to capture a red kite.
Meanwhile, Benedict Cumberbatch praised William as "a great guy" and urged businesses and individuals to recognize that they can still make a difference, even when global environmental challenges appear overwhelming.

With William, Watson, and Cumberbatch joining forces on the issue, the London forum delivered a clear message: the fight against environmental destruction is becoming impossible for the world's biggest names to ignore.
