Shocking List: 10 Movie Stars Who've Never Died on Screen

Most actors eventually face the inevitable: a dramatic death scene on screen. Whether they are blown up, shot, stabbed, sacrificed, or simply caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, dying is practically a rite of passage in Hollywood.

But remarkably, some of the biggest stars in the business have managed to cheat cinematic death entirely.

From Harry Potter royalty to Marvel superheroes and comedy legends, these actors have built impressive careers without ever filming a proper on-screen death. And some of their careers are so long that it is genuinely surprising they have survived every movie they've appeared in.

Justin Timberlake has played everything from the ruthless Sean Parker in The Social Network to the futuristic thriller In Time, but somehow, the former NSYNC star has never been killed on screen. His relatively selective film career—and increasing focus on comedy and animation—may explain his unusual survival streak.

Then there's James Dean, whose case is perhaps the most tragic. The legendary actor appeared in only three feature films before his real-life death in 1955. Despite becoming one of Hollywood's most iconic stars through Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden, and Giant, Dean never had the chance to film a cinematic death.

Brie Larson has also managed to stay alive throughout her film career. From her Oscar-winning performance in Room to becoming Captain Marvel, Larson has faced plenty of danger on screen—but never a definitive movie death.

Emma Watson is another surprising survivor. After eight Harry Potter films, The Bling Ring, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Women, Hermione Granger's actress has somehow escaped every fatal storyline. Her relatively limited filmography may be the biggest reason.

Zendaya is another modern superstar who has never died on screen. Following major roles in Dune: Part Two and Challengers, her career is only getting bigger. Considering how frequently blockbuster characters meet tragic ends, her survival record is surprisingly impressive.

Cynthia Erivo has also managed to avoid an onscreen demise despite starring in intense films such as Harriet, Widows, and Bad Times at the El Royale. Even her major role in Wicked doesn't immediately put her character on a path toward cinematic death.

Millie Bobby Brown has survived everything from giant monsters in the Godzilla franchise to dangerous adventures in Enola Holmes and Damsel. As Eleven in Stranger Things, however, her survival may become much harder to predict as the story approaches its final chapter.

Jerry Seinfeld's survival is much easier to explain: he simply hasn't appeared in enough movies. The legendary comedian has spent far more of his career performing stand-up than starring in feature films.

Tim Allen has also avoided death by sticking largely to comedy and family entertainment. Between Toy Story and The Santa Clause, his characters tend to face hilarious disasters rather than permanent endings.

And finally, Liv Tyler has somehow survived a career filled with dangerous situations, including Armageddon and The Strangers. Her most famous character, Arwen in The Lord of the Rings, is even immortal by human standards.

So, which of these stars will finally break the streak? Hollywood loves a shocking death—and sooner or later, even the safest actors may have to face it.

Unexpected Team-Up: Prince William and Emma Watson Unite for Change

Prince William had plenty to celebrate this weekend, but his latest public appearance quickly turned heads for a very different reason. After marking his 44th birthday and Father's Day with his family, the future king returned to royal duties—and made a surprisingly personal confession about the emotional toll of climate change.

William joined Hollywood stars Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch at a United for Wildlife forum in London, an initiative he launched with the Royal Foundation in 2013. The organization works around the world to combat wildlife trafficking, environmental crime, and the destruction of endangered species.

But it was William's candid admission about his own fears that stole the spotlight.

The Prince of Wales revealed that climate change has caused him "sleepless nights," admitting he has struggled with anxiety about what the future could look like. Yet instead of allowing those fears to overwhelm him, William said seeing real progress through conservation efforts has helped keep his environmental anxiety under control.

He also delivered a powerful message to business leaders, urging them to become the kind of leaders they admired when they were children. With technology and innovation transforming the world at an incredible pace, William challenged CEOs to use their influence to create meaningful change.

The event launched London Climate Action Week, with more royal appearances expected, including the Earthshot Prize assembly.

Emma Watson also delivered a surprising revelation of her own. The Harry Potter star highlighted the fashion industry's enormous environmental impact, pointing out that it produces more emissions than aviation and ranks behind only oil among major polluting industries.

Watson, who is also pursuing a doctorate in philosophy at Oxford, shared a hilarious story about mistakenly believing paparazzi were following her. After spotting photographers with telephoto lenses, she arranged a distraction and escaped through another exit. The twist? They weren't photographing her at all. They were waiting to capture a red kite.

Meanwhile, Benedict Cumberbatch praised William as "a great guy" and urged businesses and individuals to recognize that they can still make a difference, even when global environmental challenges appear overwhelming.

With William, Watson, and Cumberbatch joining forces on the issue, the London forum delivered a clear message: the fight against environmental destruction is becoming impossible for the world's biggest names to ignore.
