Reports Suggest Emma Watson Is Dating Entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillères

Emma Watson appears to be happily embracing a new romance.

After the Harry Potter star and Mexican entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillères were photographed sharing a kiss at an airport on Wednesday, March 4, a source familiar with the relationship tells PEOPLE that the actress, 35, is “really into” Baillères and is currently “on cloud nine.”

The insider adds that the billionaire “seems like a good guy.”

Following their first sighting together, they were also spotted grabbing drinks and having dinner at an upscale restaurant.

The recent outing follows earlier reports that the pair had been spending time together in recent months. According to Quién, Watson and Baillères were first seen together in Courchevel in the French Alps in late 2025. They were later spotted in Punta Mita, a scenic peninsula roughly 10 miles north of Puerto Vallarta on Mexico’s Pacific coast.

Baillères comes from one of Mexico’s most prominent business families, linked to Grupo BAL, the conglomerate founded by billionaire Alberto Baillères. The family’s business interests span industries including mining, insurance, finance and retail, and include the luxury department store chain El Palacio de Hierro.

He studied at the Swiss boarding school Le Rosey and later attended Ransom Everglades School in Miami before continuing his education in Mexico. Baillères went on to earn a degree in economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

He now serves as CEO of the artificial intelligence technology company Lok.

Before being linked to Watson, Baillères dated Mexican pop star and actress Belinda from 2022 to 2024. Her 2025 song “Heterochromia” sparked speculation among fans that it referenced Baillères, who has heterochromia — a condition that causes a person to have two different colored eyes.

Watson was most recently linked to Brandon Green, the son of fashion executive Sir Philip Green, in 2022.

During a September appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, Watson shared that she prefers partners who aren’t overly familiar with her work.

“I want someone to appreciate my work,” she said. “But I think knowing you don’t have to navigate that extra degree of weirdness is helpful, a relief.”

“It’s funny, occasionally people will apologize to me for the fact they’ve not seen my films,” she added. “And I will be like, ‘Please don’t apologize. That is bliss to me.’”

Unexpected Team-Up: Prince William and Emma Watson Unite for Change

Prince William had plenty to celebrate this weekend, but his latest public appearance quickly turned heads for a very different reason. After marking his 44th birthday and Father's Day with his family, the future king returned to royal duties—and made a surprisingly personal confession about the emotional toll of climate change.

William joined Hollywood stars Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch at a United for Wildlife forum in London, an initiative he launched with the Royal Foundation in 2013. The organization works around the world to combat wildlife trafficking, environmental crime, and the destruction of endangered species.

But it was William's candid admission about his own fears that stole the spotlight.

The Prince of Wales revealed that climate change has caused him "sleepless nights," admitting he has struggled with anxiety about what the future could look like. Yet instead of allowing those fears to overwhelm him, William said seeing real progress through conservation efforts has helped keep his environmental anxiety under control.

He also delivered a powerful message to business leaders, urging them to become the kind of leaders they admired when they were children. With technology and innovation transforming the world at an incredible pace, William challenged CEOs to use their influence to create meaningful change.

The event launched London Climate Action Week, with more royal appearances expected, including the Earthshot Prize assembly.

Emma Watson also delivered a surprising revelation of her own. The Harry Potter star highlighted the fashion industry's enormous environmental impact, pointing out that it produces more emissions than aviation and ranks behind only oil among major polluting industries.

Watson, who is also pursuing a doctorate in philosophy at Oxford, shared a hilarious story about mistakenly believing paparazzi were following her. After spotting photographers with telephoto lenses, she arranged a distraction and escaped through another exit. The twist? They weren't photographing her at all. They were waiting to capture a red kite.

Meanwhile, Benedict Cumberbatch praised William as "a great guy" and urged businesses and individuals to recognize that they can still make a difference, even when global environmental challenges appear overwhelming.

With William, Watson, and Cumberbatch joining forces on the issue, the London forum delivered a clear message: the fight against environmental destruction is becoming impossible for the world's biggest names to ignore.
