Alongside a montage of memories over the years, she detailed Hayes’ personality.
“You take pride in being kind and doing well, which makes my heart swell,” she continued. “I love your quick wit with your sisters, your competitive nature—kicking my butt in UNO on the regular—and your desire to always play and have fun.”
The 45-year-old—who is now dating Danny Ramirez—also revealed her most cherished memories with her youngest child.
“My absolute favorite moments have been our sleepovers and nighttime cuddles, filled with your musings of the day and questions about life,” she added. “Also, our lazy morning cuddles with hot chocolate for you and coffee for me, watching a movie we didn’t finish the night before.”
When it comes to being a boy mom, Alba previously admitted that it’s had a learning curve.
“This guy, he just runs non-stop, and he just wakes up and he’s on the go,” she told E! News in September 2023. “He’s not self-conscious at all and I love that about him. But then he still has that tender side and likes to cuddle. I love it, I love every second of it.”
As for what motherhood has looked like when it comes to Honor and Haven?
“I feel like I’m constantly learning from them, just how to be more connected to my feelings on an ongoing basis because they both need such different things from me,” Alba explained. “I think empathy and compassion are things you learn—you can’t learn enough.”
