Jessica Alba rang in her long weekend in the best (and chicest) way possible—with friends, family, food, and a little break from foundation. In a new Instagram post captioned “Long weekend vibes,” the actress led with a glowing selfie that appeared to be totally makeup-free.
Elsewhere in the carousel, Alba shared a few snaps and videos of her three children, Honor, Haven, and Hayes. In one snap, two of her kids grin and hold up ice cream, while in a video, her son plays the piano.
Alba also included some other pictures and videos of herself working out, enjoying large dinner spread, getting her makeup done, and chilling outside in the sunshine in workout gear. In one image, her necklace with three H’s in honor of her three children was visible.
Also in the carousel were a few inspirational quotes. “You’re in a season where your calendar looks like your vision board,” read one.
Alba’s laid-back long weekend carousel comes after a year of change for the actress. In January, Alba announced her split from her husband of 16 years, Cash Warren. She filed for divorce a month later.
Back in April 2024, Alba had hinted that their relationship had changed over the years, explaining that they had become more like “roommates.” “It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes,” she said on the BDA Baby podcast. “We have, like, obviously the friendship, the comfort of, like, ‘you’re not going anywhere,’ and so sometimes you don’t treat those people the best, right? You don’t consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people’s feelings. So that is something that I think is a constant one to work on…If you’ve figured it out in your relationship, let me know.”
Apparently, Alba is “having fun a lot of fun” in the wake of her divorce.
“[Alba] has gone on dates, but she isn’t seeing anyone specific right now,” a source said to Us Weekly earlier this week. “She’s having a lot of fun going out with her girlfriends and being more spontaneous. She’s embracing all the attention she’s getting.”
