Jessica Alba’s teenage daughters, Honor and Haven, accompanied her for a “meaningful evening” on Tuesday. The actress and her two oldest attended a screening and panel, promoting Alba’s new Netflix movie, Valentina.
The trio arrived wearing various laid-back looks (photos here). Alba was dressed in an olive green tank, with a matching blazer and jeans. She accessorized with a large pendant necklace. Her daughters, meanwhile, wore causal outfits of their own, with Honor, 17, in an oversized sweater and Haven, 14, in a black bodysuit.
“Last night was really special,” Alba wrote on Instagram. “We hosted a screening of Valentina surrounded by an incredible community of Latino artists, storytellers, leaders, and the allies, supporters, and advocates who continue to show up for stories like this.”
“Thank you to my wonderful co-host @elsamariecollins and our partners at @unitedtalent for helping bring everyone together for such a meaningful evening,” she continued. Alba went on to stress the importance of coming together in difficult times.
“At a time when the rhetoric about our community can feel so dehumanizing, moments like this matter deeply,” she said. “We see one another. We put our arms around each other. We hold space for truth and for authentic depictions of our shared humanity.” Alba signed off with a heartfelt message: “Moments like this remind me why storytelling matters.”
Valentina follows a young woman who faces “a series of bureaucratic mishaps” at the El Paso-Juarez border, per Variety. The film stars Keyla Montesorro Mejia, who is best known for her roles in The Studio and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
