The Causeway star, who shares son Cy, , and a second son born in with husband Cooke Maroney, recently got candid about how much she relies on her inner circle. For Lawrence, navigating the highs and lows of parenthood wasn’t something she wanted to do alone.
“As a mom, especially when I was a new, first-time mom, my community and having a mom community was so vital,” she shared with E! News. Whether it’s meeting parents at a “mommy-and-me” class or bonding with other families at her son’s school, Lawrence says those connections are everything.
“Having a community is so, so important and just being able to check in with other women,” she added. It turns out, even Oscar winners need a second opinion when it comes to the playground.
