Jennifer Lawrence Calls ‘RHOSLC’ Finale the ‘Best Reality TV’ Ever — and Says ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Is ‘All I Have to Live For’

Jennifer Lawrence may have an Oscar on her shelf, but she’s still first in line for the latest Bravo drama.

The No Hard Feelings star proved once again that she’s the ultimate reality TV superfan during a hilarious red carpet appearance at the Golden Globes. While most stars were talking about their designers, Lawrence was busy dissecting the “shocking” Season finale of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

“I just want to give a shout-out to the best finale I have ever seen on reality TV,” Lawrence told Entertainment Tonight. “It was amazing.”

The finale she’s referencing is, of course, the now-iconic “Reality Von Tease” reveal, where Heather Gay confronted co-star Monica Garcia for her ties to a trolling Instagram account. The moment went viral instantly on X and TikTok, and even Lawrence couldn’t escape the spoilers from her inner circle.

Lawrence admitted she was “a couple days late” to the episode, but her friends weren’t about to let her miss out. She revealed that her group chats blew up so much she realized she “had to see this now.”

In true J-Law fashion, she kept it very real about her viewing experience—and her pre-awards show diet.

“I was stone-cold sober because I was starving for this event,” she said, looking directly into the camera. “I was jaw-dropped.”

While the Salt Lake City ladies are currently topping her list, Lawrence confessed that her heart still belongs to another zip code. She noted that she remains partial to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and admitted she even has a soft spot for the canceled Real Housewives of Dallas.

She also weighed in on the high-stakes cast reboot of The Real Housewives of New York City, admitting she was initially “nervous” about the change.

“I was relieved,” she said of the new Season crew. “I think they’re going to round out nicely. Everybody seems to have the right personality disorder that we like to see.”

But while the Housewives keep her entertained, there is one show that Lawrence says is sustaining her: Vanderpump Rules.

Following the “Scandoval” cheating scandal that broke the internet last year, the actress is officially counting down the days until the Season premiere on January .

“I’m just holding my breath until Vanderpump comes out,” Lawrence joked. “That’s all I have to live for.”

Between her relatable “hangry” awards show moments and her deep-seated love for Andy Cohen’s universe, Jennifer Lawrence continues to be the relatable queen of the red carpet.

Now, we just need to know which side she’s taking in the PumpRules aftermath!

Jennifer Lawrence And Josh Hutcherson Are Returning To The Hunger Games Universe

The rumors are true, and months of denials have officially aged like milk. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are reportedly returning to the world of Panem, reprising their iconic roles as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in Lionsgate’s highly anticipated prequel, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.

At first, the idea seemed impossible. The new film takes place decades before Katniss ever volunteered for the Hunger Games, making the return of Lawrence and Hutcherson appear unlikely. However, the filmmakers have reportedly found a clever way to bring the beloved characters back without disrupting the timeline of the original trilogy.

The key is a framing device reportedly taken from Suzanne Collins’ latest novel. The story is expected to feature an older Katniss and Peeta spending time with Haymitch Abernathy as he tells them about the horrifying experience he endured during his own Hunger Games. This approach gives fans an opportunity to see the original characters again while allowing the prequel to remain focused on Haymitch’s story.

The revelation is especially amusing considering Josh Hutcherson’s recent comments about the project. For months, the actor insisted that he knew nothing about the upcoming film and emphasized how much he still loved the franchise. In Hollywood, however, such denials can often mean that a carefully worded confidentiality agreement is keeping the truth under wraps. Fans now have plenty of reason to laugh at those earlier statements.

Sunrise on the Reaping centers on the 50th Hunger Games, known as the Second Quarter Quell. This particular Games was designed to be especially brutal, with twice the usual number of tributes being sent into the arena. The story follows a young Haymitch as he struggles to survive one of the most devastating and psychologically intense Games in Panem’s history.

Bringing Katniss and Peeta into the story through a framing sequence could create an emotional connection between Haymitch’s past and the characters fans have followed since the beginning of the franchise. It also gives Lawrence and Hutcherson a chance to return without changing the events established in the original films.

Fans have already taken to social media to celebrate the reported reunion, with many joking about how successfully the actors managed to keep the secret. The combination of familiar stars, Suzanne Collins’ source material, and director Francis Lawrence returning has created enormous anticipation.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 20, 2026. Whether Katniss and Peeta appear only briefly or play a more meaningful role remains unclear, but their return could make this new chapter one of the franchise’s biggest cinematic events yet.
