Perrie Edwards has announced the death of her beloved dog Hatchi after 14 years together.
The Little Mix star shared a collection of photographs from their life together in an emotional post. They included pictures of the Pomeranian with her four-year-old son Axel and beside Perrie during photoshoots.
Her words capture the grief of losing a family dog after 14 years. Hatchi had accompanied Perrie through her pop career and into motherhood.

Perrie Edwards pays tribute to dog Hatchi
Perrie began her tribute by reflecting on how quickly their years together had passed.
She wrote: “My Hatchi, 14 years with you, and somehow it still could never have been enough.”
The singer explained that Hatchi had meant far more to her than a pet. She called him her “fur baby”, “little shadow” and companion, adding that he had supported her through happy and difficult periods.
Perrie said: “You were there beside me through every chapter and every milestone of my life. Through the happiest moments and the hardest ones.”
She also remembered the comfort and happiness that Hatchi brought to her daily life. Perrie said he would lick away her tears, make her laugh and greet her each morning with what she described as a little smile.
Hatchi joined Little Mix tours and family holidays
Hatchi remained by Perrie’s side as her life and career changed. In her post, she recalled taking him on tour with Little Mix and travelling around the world with him.
The dog also joined her on holidays in Portugal and accompanied her to restaurants, where Perrie said he ate steak “like the little prince” he was.
She added: “Wherever life took me, you were part of it.”
According to MailOnline, Perrie adopted Hatchi with her then-fiancé Zayn Malik in November 2012. Hatchi stayed with her following their split and remained a constant companion during her Little Mix years and transition into motherhood.
Perrie now shares two children with her footballer husband Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Their son Axel arrived in 2021, while they welcomed daughter Alanis in January.
Perrie says her home feels empty without Hatchi
The singer said Hatchi had given her 14 years of “unconditional love, loyalty and memories”. She added that she would carry those memories for the rest of her life.
Perrie wrote: “My heart is completely broken knowing I won’t see your little face in the morning, hear your footsteps, cuddle you or have you following me around anymore. The house and my heart already feel emptier without you.”
She thanked Hatchi for growing up alongside her and loving every version of her. Perrie also expressed hope that he had understood how much she loved him and how hard she had tried to give him a happy life.
Ending her farewell, Perrie wrote: “I would choose you in every lifetime. Sleep peacefully my beautiful boy. I hope wherever you are, there’s endless steak waiting for you.”
She signed off by calling Hatchi her “first baby” and “best little friend”, adding: “A piece of my heart went with you.”

Cat Deeley enjoyed a relaxing holiday to Canada over the summer break, showing off her toned legs in a comfy robe.
She also included a striking black bear sighting among the pictures from her summer holiday in Canada.
The This Morning presenter captured the animal across a lake while staying at Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort with her sons.
Cat’s new pictures offer another rare look at family time with Milo and James. The trio travelled to the Canadian wilderness resort during the school break.

Inside Cat Deeley’s Canada holiday with Milo and James
Cat, 49, and her boys appeared to stay in a wooden cabin during the trip. One photograph showed one of her sons tucking into popcorn, while another featured the resort’s robes and slippers.
The family also made the most of the outdoor activities on offer. Their holiday included canoeing, boating and swimming in the lake.
Away from the water, Cat explored the woodlands in a top, shorts and trainers. She added a baseball cap to shield her head from the sunshine.
The presenter shared more of the area’s wildlife too, including a photograph of a starfish. She also smiled for a selfie with two women who joined the family on the trip.
Cat took the holiday during her summer break from This Morning, which she has presented alongside Ben Shephard since 2024.
Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty’s split
Cat shares Milo, 10, and James, eight, with her former husband Patrick Kielty. Cat and Patrick announced their separation in July 2025 following 12 years of marriage.
The former couple confirmed their decision in a joint statement and made clear that they would remain united as parents to their sons.
Cat and Patrick first met while presenting BBC talent show Fame Academy in 2002. Their friendship later became romantic, and they went public with their relationship in May 2012. They married in Rome that September.
The pair lived in California for around a decade before returning to the UK in 2020. Cat had previously hosted the US competition So You Think You Can Dance before taking over as one of This Morning’s main presenters.
Is Cat Deeley dating again after her marriage split?
Reports about Cat’s romantic future have also emerged since the separation. In May, The Sun claimed that she felt ready to consider dating again.
A source told The Sun: “She is open to dating again, definitely, but it has to feel right.”
The source added that Cat liked the idea of enjoying “a bit of flirting, a bit of fun, without any pressure”.

MailOnline subsequently reported that Cat attended Lewis Capaldi’s British Summer Time Hyde Park concert with Charlie Coleman, an executive at Amazon MGM Studios. The pair reportedly laughed together during the event, while Charlie placed a hand on Cat’s shoulder.
No romance between the pair has been confirmed, however.
Cat’s Canada holiday post instead focused on the outdoor experiences she enjoyed with Milo and James during their school break.
