Jessica Alba's oldest daughter Honor Warren is celebrating a major coming-of-age milestone. On May 28, Alba's ex-husband Cash Warren shared a photo of the 17-year-old celebrating her high school graduation in Santa Monica, California alongside her siblings. The family reunion photo, posted on Instagram, marks Warren's first social media post of the year.
"Honor, you were born for this moment," Cash captioned the photo of himself posing with all three children. "You have officially outgrown the high school pond, and you're ready to swim in deeper waters. I can't think of anyone more prepared for this next phase of life than you."
The photo features Honor, who will turn 18 on June 7, at the center in navy graduation gown layered over a floral dress and pink ballet flats. To one side, Cash stands with his arm around his daughter, smiling proudly. To Honor's other side stands her 14-year-old sister Haven in an all-blue ensemble, with 8-year-old Hayes leaning casually up against his father in a varsity-style crewneck and khakis.
In his emotional tribute to Honor, Cash went on to praise his daughter for her tenacity, empathy, and intellect. "Every single day, you put in the work needed to accomplish your goals. You took no days off. Yes, you have the ability to manifest, but you also understand that effort determines results. That combination is rare. You are one of one. Your beauty radiates from your core. Your smile charms everyone around you. Your intellect quiets the naysayers. Your presence is magnetic. Your work ethic is awe-inspiring. You are loyal and empathetic. You listen. You lead. Following in her father's footsteps, Honor will attend Yale University in the fall, where she will double major in English and Film. "You have no idea how special it is for me to watch you follow my path to Yale," Cash continued. "On the brink of 18, you have already created a new legacy for our family. I have no idea what your future holds, but I cannot wait to watch the movie unfold. I’m buying my popcorn now, and I’ll be front row center cheering you on."
The proud father ended the tribute with a few final words of inspiration. "Always remember, I am your safety net. I will always be here to catch you. So take risks. Make mistakes. Learn from them. Keep climbing. Keep blazing trails. Keep aiming for the stars. There is no ceiling for you…among the clouds in the sky is where you are meant to soar. I love you with every ounce of my being. At the time of publication, Alba has not posted any photos from Honor's graduation, making it unclear whether the longtime couple reunited for the special occasion. Warren's post, however, comes just one week after Alba opened up about feeling "grateful" amid her divorce from Warren in February.
"This year is flying by, and I'm reminding myself to slow down and soak it all in—the big moments, the quiet ones, the chaos, the beauty, all of it," the mom of three wrote on Instagram.
